След кратка литературна справка запържих една голяма тиквичка в олио без брашно. След тиквичката в същата мазнина запържих три зелени чушки на парчета. Посипах дъното на пръстен гювеч с накълцана голяма глава лук и няколко скилидки чесън. Отгоре наредих картофи на кръгчета. Върху тях наредих тиквичката, отгоре чушките. Посипах с натрошено сирене. Поръсих обилно с чубрица, добавих джоджен, черен пипер. Според предпочитанията и сиренето, може да посолите. Отгоре наредих още картофи. Върху тях наредих нарязани на кръгчета домати. Сипах мазнина и чаша вода. Поради липса на време готвих манджата на силна фурна.
